You are a security agent, you have been employed by the leading software corporation IC&D to investigate certain crimes that have been committed in the teeming city of Metropolis.
Your first mission is to recover a master tape, of the game imagination.
You will be met when you arrive by a police droid, who will lead you to the IC&D building, after that it is up to you.
Once you have solved this crime you can progress via the zoom tube to the next level, where there is another crime for you to solve, and so on till you have completed the ten levels.
