Software Classic-Games - Commando (2004)
Assault Trooper
Genre: Action Game
Production: by Hamish McLeod
Publication date: 2004
Description:
"Commando" is a great sides-crolling action game.
Terrorists have hijacked a transport with nuclear weapons in the middle of Texas and now it's your task to infiltrate their camp and get the weapons back...The game has everything you wish for in an action game.
Fast-paced action in different surroundings (jungle, warehouse, city), several guns and grenades you can choose from (after you collected them), a great soundtrack and decent controlling. There are lots of checkpoints in every level, so you don't have to start from the beginning over and over again every time you die.
And best thing: You have twenty lives, so you really can play for a while before there is a "Game Over".
And your enemies stay dead after you killed them once (even when you die and have to start from the checkpoint again)."Commando" was developed by Hamish McLeod, a member of "Fallen Angel Industries", one of the best freeware making groups.
Unfortunately their website was taken over some time ago and so it's a bit hard to find their games at the moment (we have some more on the website like "A Game with a Kitty", and "Reactor09").IMPORTANT: Press Alt + Enter after starting the game to play in fullscreen mode!
